When Alice and I first started the full-time lifestyle, I sent out periodic emails to friends and family. I think this Blog will be a better way of staying in touch. The title of our Blog comes from one of our favorite Robert Earl Keen songs and was also recorded by one of Barry's favorite Texas singers, Joe Ely. Robert Earl Keen is truly one of the great Texas singer/song writers. So, the party has started and the road is long. Don't forget to leave us a comment. See ya.

Alice and I sold our house in Richardson, TX and started full-timing August 2001. It seemed that the full-timing lifestyle just wasn't meant to be. 911 occurred one month later and the stock market took a serious dive. On our well-planed trip to Alaska, Barry's National Guard unit was activated and the next two years were spent on active duty. Things are looking better now, although I still drill with the Guard and Alice drills with the Navy Reserve. We hope you enjoy this site and keeping up with our whereabouts and carryings-on.

Alice is a very pretty, no wonder why you call her your CB. Looks like you guys like to do what we like to do. Relax, drink, love your dog, hike, bike (well we use to). I think Buddy and Kamper will get a long great.
